Virtual Walk Campaign: Can’t come to Walk this year?

September 21, 2010

Please consider hosting a “Virtual Walk” campaign if you are unable to attend the walk this year.

JDRF is committed to advancing diabetes research, but we need your help in raising as much money as we can… every dollar counts and is so appreciated!!! Please consider being a “virtual walker” by registering and conducting an online fundraising campaign. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…

  1. Just register online by going to our JDRF Walk webpage, and select the Dallas/Victory Park or Plano/Granite Park location. Important: These links will stay active even after our walk takes place on Saturday, September 25th so you can register anytime after the walk to participate! When you register, this will allow you to make a personal goal and send out donation emails to your friends and family members so they can donate to you online.
  2. Once you register, you can create your personal fundraising page to conduct your online campaign. For tips on how to do this, check out our blog post: Walk Talk Goal for the Week: Raise more money by holding an on-line campaign!
  3. Invite your friends and family to join your team to also be a “virtual walker”!

That’s it!

Seriously!

Sign up to be a virtual walker TODAY and your efforts will help JDRF raise important funds for diabetes research!

Need help? Please contact the JDRF office at (214) 373-9808 or email Dolores Johnson (dsjohnson@jdrf.org) or Tressa Thomas (tthomas@jdrf.org).
