Lights, Camera, Action!

On Tuesday, October 12, the JDRF Greater Dallas Chapter participated in a news conference to kick off the 2010 Mayor’s Passport to Health diabetes initiative at the Cotton Bowl at Fair Park. JDRF ambassadors were in attendance to help bring awareness to type 1 diabetes and all the great research JDRF is doing to help find a cure for diabetes. Speakers included Mayor Leppert, Dallas Cowboy Keith Brooking, and representing JDRF, was nine-year-old ambassador Kendall Tubbs. (WFAA article of the event)
