JDRF Dallas is looking for Interns!

April 14, 2011

As the Greater Dallas Chapter continues to grow, so does our need for great interns!

JDRF Dallas is seeking interns who desire experience in event planning, office administration, program coordinating and nonprofit fundraising. The Dallas Staff is constantly on the move planning events including the Dream Gala, Walk to Cure Diabetes, Family Outreach events, School Walks and the Cliff Harris Golf Reunion Classic (just to name a few).

Interns will have the opportunity to learn about event planning, fundraising, budgets, office administration, social media marketing, communications, and sponsorships. There will also be opportunities to assist with our School Walk Fundraising program during the school year.

JDRF Dallas is always looking for great interns throughout the year and for all semesters. As a non-profit organization, all internships with JDRF are unpaid. However, lunch is provided, schedules are flexible and school credit is available along with the opportunity to add to your resume an internship with the #1 funder of type 1 diabetes research and the chance to work with an awesome staff, board of directors, volunteers and supporters. We also have opportunities for high school students in marketing and business programs.

For more information on a possible internship at JDRF, please view the JDRF Internship Program Job Description flyer, contact Julie Brown at (214) 764-6775 or jabrown@jdrf.org
