This is a very casual, relaxed event – definitely do not need to dress up (this is Texas!). Come along, bring a picnic and let’s have some fun!

There’s no better way to spend a Saturday evening than relaxing with friends and family at a polo match! Enjoy the day tailgating or in a grandstand boxed seat or our party pavilion with elevated viewing, the sun to your back and a lovely view of gorgeous trees and lakes. Every event is child friendly, leashed dogs are welcome, BYOB/picnic and enjoy the traditional champagne divot stomp. Polo ROCKS!  — Oak Point Polo Club

Yahoo! Diabetes Support Group: FOTOD, or Families of Type One Diabetes, is an online support and education group for families that are living with type 1 diabetes. It is based in the DFW area and is lead by Alison Zettle, one of our JDRF families. This group is great because it starts online, but can lead to activities around your area. We are hoping that through this group, families can find support and lifelong friendships in their area. Learn how you can join this online support group!

Cool! FYI, the Diabetes Exercise and Sports Association is also holding its every-other-month meeting on Saturday, May 21st, at the Grapevine Community Center (just off Grapevine Main), at 11 AM. Hope some of you can make it… nothing beats watching an athletic event… except participating in them!
