JDRF Ambassador Project: Help JDRF thank Marshalls for their support!

September 1, 2011

Marshalls is a national JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes supporter and has raised millions for JDRF and diabetes research to find a cure. They are currently hosting their Sneaker Sales Campaign in their stores so we would like to ask that our families living with diabetes make a visit to their local Marshalls store to help say Thank You.

This can be done anytime between now and September 24, 2011.

We will be asking families that would like to participate to call the store manager in advance to let them know when you will be coming by, then spend some time at the store on the date of your choice to go around and say thank you to the employees and to the customers for supporting JDRF and important diabetes research.

Marshalls has 14 locations benefiting the Greater Dallas Chapter including stores in Dallas (Central, East and North), East Plano, West Plano, Frisco, Lewisville, Grapevine, Mesquite, Tyler, Waco, Temple and Huntsville. [View locations and addresses]

If you are interested in helping, please email Jessica Tresp at and let her know what location you would like to help with. You will then receive the store manager’s name and phone number so you can reach out to them to set-up your visit.

Our goal is to have one family visit per store, but we need your help to make it happen! We are so grateful to Marshalls for their continued dedication and wonderful support and appreciate your help in saying Thank You!
