Castle Montessori Schools has been a proud supporter of JDRF in the past, having been a Sapphire Sponsor of the 2011 JDRF Dream Gala. In 2011 they held their second annual JDRF Kids Walk to Cure Diabetes and raised over $45,000! The funds were raised by the families that attend the schools along with matching contributions by the founders, Vikas and Varsha Patel. Students, some as young as age three, participated in the Walk and learned about the disease and what it is like to live with diabetes.
