Calling all Family Team Walk Champions!

JDRF’s Family Teams Need You!

We are looking for volunteers to help encourage and support other families by serving on the 2012 Walk Family Team Committee. JDRF’s Family Team Program is the fastest-growing component of the Walk to Cure Diabetes. With new teams joining us every year, and a strong set of returning teams too, we need help in keeping everyone in the loop. The success of the Walk to Cure Diabetes is a true testament to the dedication of our sponsors, families, donors and volunteers who graciously contribute their time, energy and support. Can you join us?

Family Team Champions help strengthen our Walk by:

• Making a set of calls to a designated group of families (list estimated at 10 families per committee member) to help answer questions about the Walk.
• Encouraging participation in the Walk.
• Providing outreach and stewardship.
• Forming a Walk team.
• Conducting a letter writing campaign.
• Sharing creative fundraising ideas.
